DNS and IP Addresses both are important for the Internet and website this is a medium for access to the internet. In this article, I will explain what is DNS and What is IP Address History As short As possible.
What is DNS?
DNS Known as a Domain name system. Sun Microsystems developed the DNS in early 1980 as an easier way to keep track of network addresses. IN DNS we use a hierarchical domain-based naming scheme and a distributed database system for implementing this scheme. It was primary used for mapping hostname and email destination to IP addresses.
DNS server contains the database of the domain name and their corresponding IP address. However, this database is used in resolving domain names into IP addresses. Domain names are not case sensitive means “TECHNOINFO360” or “technoinfo360” both are the same.
For Example: In info.org.in, “org” from the second level domain under the top-level domain “in” and “info” is the subdomain.
Domain names cannot be: duplicated. Once a domain name has been created or registered it can create a subdomain. The second level domain is assigned and managed by NCST in INDIA.

What is IP Address
An IP address is made up of 32 bits of information. These bits are divided into four sections containing 8 bits each. After that, These four sections are called octets and separated by periods (dots) These 32 bits IP address contains network address as the first part and the node (host) address as a second part.

The network address uniquely identifies each network. In addition, Every machine on the same network shares the network address as part of its IP address. The host address uniquely identifies each machine on the network. This part of the IP address must be unique because it identifies a particular machine as an individual. However, the value in each octet ranges from 0 to 255 decimal, or 00000000 – 11111111 binary.
