Poco X5 5G is going to rock the market, camera and battery information became public for the first time



Xiaomi’s popular sub-brand Poco launched the Poco X4 handset earlier this year. And currently the brand is said to be working on its successor Poco X5 5G and it may be launched soon as it has already received approval from some certification sites. Now Poco X5 5G has also been spotted in the database of important websites like US FCC and BIS in India. Let’s find out what these certifications reveal about Poco’s upcoming handset.

Poco X5 5G spotted on multiple certification sites

As reported by MySmartPrice, the Poco X5 5G with model numbers 22101320I and 22101320G has been listed on both the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) sites. The FCC listing indicates that the device will have a rectangular camera module and support dual-band Wi-Fi. Furthermore, it was revealed that the Poco X5 5G will come with a 4,900mAh battery, which will be marketed as 5,000mAh.

Incidentally, the FCC listing mentions that the handsets will be the N5, N7, N38, N41, N77, and N78 5G bands. Talking about the software, it will run on MIUI 14 custom skin. On the other hand, the Indian variant of the Poco X5 5G has been spotted on the BIS website with model number 22101320I. As usual, the listing doesn’t reveal any specifications of the device, but it surely hints at the upcoming launch of the handset in India.

Notably, Poco India head Himanshu Tandon had recently hinted that the company will launch a new phone, possibly the Poco X5 5G. The brand may announce the launch date of the handset soon. The upcoming Poco handset is rumored to come with an IPS LCD panel that will offer 120Hz refresh rate. The Poco X5 is also expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus processor, which is used in the Nothing phone (1).
