PMV Electric’s first electric vehicle is coming on November 16, which may cost less than ₹ 4 lakh

The company said that the PMV will be capable of delivering EAS-E with a delivery range of up to 200 km. It is likely to be powered by a 10kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, which is capable of producing a maximum power of 20hp.

PMV Electric Car: Mumbai-based electric vehicle manufacturer PMV Electric is ready to launch its first electric car in the country. The company will launch the EAS-e on November 16. PMV Electric aims to position the upcoming EV as an everyday vehicle for city dwellers. It is an affordable electric vehicle which is said to be offered in three different models.

According to the EV maker, the prototype of the electric vehicle is ready. Inaugurating the vehicle, Kalpit Patel, Founder, PMV Electric said, “We are delighted to officially unveil the product. This will prove to be a milestone for the company. Because, we have developed a world class product made by an Indian company. We look forward to introducing a new segment of Electric and Personal Mobility Vehicles (PMVs) in the country, designed for everyday use.

The company said that the PMV will be capable of delivering EAS-E with a delivery range of up to 200 km. It is likely to be powered by a 10kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, which is capable of producing a maximum power of 20hp. The EV is also believed to feature a compact ‘smart car’ design. It may come with a clamshell bonnet, a squared-out grille with full-width LED DRLs, circular LED headlamp unit and a raked windscreen.

The upcoming EV could get bigger windows, flared wheel arches. There will be a full-width taillight at the rear of the car. In terms of interiors, the PMV EaS-E is going to be a two-seater micro EV with a minimalist dashboard and fabric upholstery. It is said to be a remote, keyless entry vehicle with cruise control, power windows and manual AC.

This EV can be equipped with a multi-function steering wheel. The vehicle may feature an LCD instrument cluster and an infotainment panel with Bluetooth and USB connectivity. In terms of pricing, the PMV EAS-E Micro SUV is likely to cost around ₹4 Lakh (ex-showroom). However, the company has not yet officially announced anything about the price of the car. The exact pricing and availability details will be revealed on November 16.
