Austrian company StreamView, the licensee of the Nokia brand for TVs and smart streaming boxes, has launched the Nokia Streaming Box 8010 with a new ARM chipset. In terms of design, it is similar to its predecessor 8000 model. However, this new streaming box from Nokia comes with an upgraded ARM chipset and Android TV 11. The predecessor StreamView 8000 still retails for around 70 euros (roughly Rs. 5,850), while the new Nokia Streaming Box 8010 is priced at 129 euros (roughly Rs. 10,800). Both streaming boxes can be ordered directly from StreamView.

Nokia Streaming Box 8010 is powered by Amlogic S905X4-K chipset with four ARM Cortex-A55 cores and Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. The new streaming box is more powerful than the previous generation and comes with bigger memory than the 8000 model, which will have twice the RAM and quadruple the storage than its predecessor. The amount of improvements it has seen thanks to the upgraded ARM chipset has brought the new device to a higher-performance level.

Talking about memory, Nokia Streaming Box 8010 has 4 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. So that users can install more apps. The Streaming Box 8010 can output 4K video with a frame rate of 60 fps. But it needs to be connected to a compatible TV or monitor.

In addition, the Nokia Streaming Box 8010 supports Dolby Atmos and also offers wireless connectivity via Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6. The Streaming Box 8010 will also have HDMI, USB-A and USB-C ports. The Streaming View streaming box also includes an analog AV port.
