Oppo A1 Pro launches with 180MP camera, 67W charging and great display



Oppo today launched a new smartphone in China called the Oppo A1 Pro. The first model of the A series equipped with a curved display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a main camera with 108 million pixels. Apart from other features, this 5G handset of his is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, up to 12GB of RAM, a custom OS based on the latest Android 13, and a powerful battery that supports 67W fast charging. It also has an optical in-display fingerprint scanner as a security feature. Let’s take a closer look at the price and specs of the newly launched Oppo A1 Pro.

Oppo A1 Pro Price

The Oppo A1 Pro smartphone has a total of 3 storage configurations. Pricing details are as follows –

8GB RAM + 128GB Storage : RMB 1,799 (approximately Tk. 20,650)
8GB RAM + 256GB Storage : 1,999 RMB (about Rs. 22,940)
12GB RAM + 256GB storage : RMB 2,299 (about Tk. 26,380)

The model is currently available for pre-order on the Chinese market and will be available for direct purchase from November 25th in Mungie Black, Dawn Gold and Blue color variants. No information has yet been released by the company regarding the availability of the Oppo A1 Pro smartphone in global markets, including India.

Oppo A1 Pro specs and features

The new Oppo A1 Pro smartphone features a 6.7-inch Full HD Plus curved OLED display. The display design is punch-hole style and supports 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 950nits peak brightness and 394ppi pixel density. A notch cutout in the top center of the display houses a 16-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video calls. Meanwhile, the back of the device displays a dual camera setup with an LED flash light. These cameras have a 108-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel portrait lens.

Speaking of internal specs, this latest and first model, including the Oppo A1 Pro, features an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor based on the 6nm processing node for performance. This chip system supports Adreno 619 GPU and integrated 5G (5G) modem. The operating system will be ColorOS 13 (ColorOS) based on the latest Android 13. The phone offers up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of ROM. Although there is also a virtual RAM feature of up to 8 GB on this device.

The Oppo A1 Pro smartphone uses a 4,800mAh capacity battery unit for power backup and supports 67W SuperVOOC (SuperVOOC) fast charging via the USB 2.0 Type-C port. In this case, the USB cord doubles as a data transfer and audio output port as this device does not include a 3.5mm audio jack.

However, cellular connectivity options include dual SIM slots, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, Glonass, Galileo and Beidou. On the other hand, there is an optical in-display fingerprint scanner for security. Finally, the new Oppo A1 Pro smartphone weighs 171 grams and measures 162.3 x 74.3 x 7.7 mm.
