Don’t want to look away, MV Agusta has come up with a completely different electric scooter

Italian luxury motorcycle brand MV Agusta is world-famous for producing powerful streetfighters and sports bikes. The futuristic design also raises the eyebrows of opponents. Currently, the company is focusing on eco-friendly vehicles in the commuter segment. This includes e-bikes as well as e-scooters. But this time, MV Augusta has unveiled a new battery-powered scooter. Created in collaboration with Kymko. Name – MV Ampelio.

MV Amperio Design

The e-scooter is inspired by CGT Ovunque in terms of design. It retains the old-fashioned atmosphere, but also has a modern feel. The MV Ampleo concept model is based on the Kymko S7 that was unveiled at last year’s EICMA show.

MV Amperio Powertrain

The MV Ampleo sample model has a 4.1 kWh electric motor. However, it is yet to be confirmed if the final version of the scooter will also have the same motor. Its two batteries are claimed to provide a range of 136 km on a full charge. The scooter weight including battery is 121kg.

Additionally, the scooter is equipped with at least two riding modes. The list of features includes electronic steering lock, keyless ignition, LED lights and ABS. Accessories include luggage that you can choose from. The final model is expected to have the same features.

Production and launch of MV Ampelio

There is no official information about the start of production of the scooter. MV Augusta has no idea how much it will cost. However, the scooter is expected to be able to attract buyers after its launch.
