Big news has surfaced about the Vivo X90 Pro+ before tomorrow’s launch



Vivo is all set to launch the new Vivo X90 series of flagship smartphones. Today, the company held a major launch event in its home market, China, to launch these “next generation” flagship phones. Ahead of tomorrow’s official launch, the top-of-the-line model of the lineup, the Vivo X90 Pro+, has landed on his Geekbench benchmarking platform and, as usual, the site’s listing has revealed multiple details about the phone. Vivo X90 Pro+ hits Geekbench for performance testing

A Vivo X90 Pro Plus phone with model number Vivo V2227a has appeared on the Geekbench benchmark site. A listing on the site revealed that the new Vivo handset would come with his 12GB of RAM. Benchmark results scored 1,480 points in Geekbench single-core test and 5,106 points in multi-core test.

In particular, the smartphone will be powered by the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor manufactured using the 4-nanometer process. The chipset is paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS4.0 storage. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with 1,260 pixels, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate.

On the camera front, the Vivo X90 Pro+ features a quad camera setup with a 50-megapixel 1-inch Sony IMX989V primary camera sensor with a 64-megapixel Omnivision and V64A telephoto lens. In addition, auxiliary lenses include a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX578 portrait lens. And a 32-megapixel selfie camera can be seen in front of the phone.

The Vivo X90 Pro+ smartphone is also expected to run on the Android 13 operating system with the company’s own custom user interface. For power backup, the device could support a 4,700mAh battery, 80W wired charging, and 50MP wireless charging.
