BGMI Latest News: PUBG Mobile game was banned in India a few years ago. After this comes its alternative Battleground Mobile India in 2022. The game reached its peak of popularity within a year of its launch. But that game was also removed from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store in July this year. Reportedly, the game secretly sent Indian data to Chinese servers. It’s been more than three months since it was removed. Now several reports have surfaced online about the return of the game. Instead of coming back, no new update has been released for the gaming title, due to which the users are quite unhappy.

As PUBG Mobile approaches the 2.3 update this month, fans are now looking for answers whether the BGMI game will also receive the update. Incidentally, the 2.2 update (in mid-September) was blocked from being released on Battleground Mobile India. But its rival PUBG Mobile got that update. The situation may repeat itself. Because, the upcoming 2.3 update might not roll out for the Indian version.

The game continues with the 2.1 update, a period update removed from the virtual storefront. No new updates, especially major patch updates, have affected the game since the removal of BGMI. The Indian version didn’t get the major 2.2 update as well as the latest Royale Pass. Hence, the chances of the BGMI 2.3 update rolling out are very slim.

The PUBG Mobile 2.3 update beta variant was revealed only last month. However, nothing has been launched on BGMI which suggests that the update may not be available on the Indian variant.

Krafton has not yet confirmed the availability of the BGMI 2.3 update. So, don’t believe any information you find on the internet or in YouTube videos regarding the release date of the update. There are many APK and OBB links of Battlegrounds Mobile India 2.2 Update found on the internet, which are completely fake and untrue. You can also find many links on the internet for the upcoming 2.3 update and we suggest you to stay away from them. Because, clicking on these links can get you in trouble.

It remains to be seen whether Crafton can resolve the issues with the relevant authorities and get the game back online on the virtual storefront. If the game is banned and re-released on the Play Store and App Store, we can expect BGMI to receive the 2.3 update along with its regular updates. Until then fans can continue to enjoy the current features of the game. Because, there will be no new addition in near future.
